Who we are
This is an independent guide to modern dating. It is published by Seos Design AB, a small team in Stockholm that also builds new ways to date.
The site is editorially separate from anything we build. When one of our own products appears here, it is labelled as ours and scored on the same axes as every other app.
How we score
Every app is scored from 1 to 5 on five axes, using the same scale for all of them:
- Serious: how many users say they want a relationship and behave like it.
- Real cost: what you actually pay for a usable experience, not the sticker price. 5 means the free tier is enough, 1 means you have to pay a lot.
- Pool: how many active people there are in your city and age band.
- Women report: what women tell us about safety, respect and response quality.
- Easy to ghost: how little friction there is in disappearing. 5 means very easy to ghost, 1 means the app makes you answer or end it.
Scores are updated quarterly. No app pays for placement.
Sources
Every number on this site has a dated source. We prefer primary sources: official statistics, company filings and peer-reviewed research.
Quotes from forums are attributed and verified before publication. When we get something wrong, the correction is noted on the page with a date.
Privacy
Seos Design AB in Stockholm is the data controller for this site.
The site sets no cookies and currently runs no analytics.
The newsletter and the test panel store your email address, and the optional fields you choose to give us, with Kit, a US company certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Signup is double opt-in, and every email carries an unsubscribe link.
